| Goddess Mommies is a company and community which was 'born' shortly
after the arrival of my baby girl, Trinity, in December of 2007. Its
members are made up of some of the incredible and inspiring women I met
on my journey to becoming a parent. Holistic Professionals and Mamas
alike whose values coincided with mine ... from following your 'gut'
instincts to raising a happy and healthy family in a peaceful and
positive environment. Dozens
of events (playgroups, discussion groups, moms nights out and baby gear
swaps) since its inception in early 2008 have resulted in connecting
hundreds of new moms
in the Calgary area. The Mission Statement:
“We are building a community of like minded women who are as committed
to taking care of the Earth & Each other as we are our own
children.” We
hold a Discussion Series events with guest speakers. Past topics have
included Baby Massage, Baby Sign Language, Homeopathy and Children,
Making your own organic baby food and Financial Wellness for Baby. We also love to highlight different 'mompreneur' businesses at each event and in our newsletters. Stay tuned for our Fall 2011 Discussion Series.
